Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Monday, October 3, 2016, in his 74th year. Herb is now with his wife Ann, who passed away January 23, 2016. Loving father of Shawn (Amanda) of Australia and Jill (Mike) of Shallow Lake. Papa of Samantha, Deanna, Nicolas, Curtis and Ashley. He will be sadly missed by Jamie and Martha Nicol. Also survived by 2 sisters, sister-in-law Cathy (Paul) Smith of Owen Sound and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 brothers. Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs. Memorial donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce would be appreciated.
