Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Kincardine Hospital on Thursday, May 4th, 2017 in his 70th year.   Survived by his wife Janet Cooper (Cormier), son Jason (Jennifer) and his sister Meg (Wayne) Pestill all of Kincardine.      Survived by brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins in Toronto, Peterborough, Kincardine, New Brunswick and British Columbia.      Predeceased by his mother, Mary Gwendolyn Cooper (Gaines) 1974 and father, Edward Nicholas (Ted) Cooper 2009.   Jim served with the Canadian Forces (Air) and Land for 25 years and attained the rank of Warrant Officer.   Stationed in Ottawa, Toronto, Egypt, and Germany.   Jim worked in Logistics and as Traffic Tech/ Loadmaster on helicopters at 450 Sqn Ottawa for many years.   An avid golfer and goalie he enjoyed his sports wherever he went.   He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and great humour, especially on the golf course with his many friends.   Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Jim’s wishes there will be no service or celebration of life.
