Bill McComb

It is with deep pain and sadness that we announce the passing of Bill McComb of Tobermory, formerly of Owen Sound, in his 74th year. Bill has been the cherished husband of Carol for 49 years and he leaves behind his children Sharon of Tobermory, Janet and her husband John Morris of Chatsworth and Billy Jr and his wife Lori of Alabama. He was very close to his grandchildren Bobby Juniper (Robyn), Jena (Jake), Jesika (Taylor) and John Morris Jr and his great grandchildren Taylor, Janet, Catherine and Billie and he will always be their much loved “Honey”. His little buddy Grizzly will be lost without him. He is also survived by his in-laws Nancy McComb, Susan and Bill Conn and Dan Welsh all of Owen Sound, Kathy and Doug Lein of Sauble Beach, Sharon Hind of Hanover and Terry McFarlane of Mount Forest. Bill is predeceased by his parents Bill and Janet; his brother David; parents-in-law Roy and Ruth Schlueter and son-in-law Ralph Johnson. A memorial service, followed by a celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Friday, September 29th at 3:00 p.m. at the home of John and Janet Morris, 740198 Sideroad 10, Chatsworth.
