John De Caen

May 12, 1944 – March 10, 2018

Died peacefully at The Village Seniors Community in Hanover.  He is survived by his loving wife Nancy of Port Elgin, his two sons Vincent and Erick (Al) both of Toronto, his granddaughter Emilie and several brothers and sisters.  After his retirement from J.M. Schneider in Kitchener, he moved to Port Elgin.  He was an avid bridge player.  A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Port Elgin on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.  In memory of John, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be made at www.greybrucecremation.com.
