John (Jack) Grant
Jack passed away peacefully at GBHS Southampton with his family by his side on Friday, March 9th, 2018, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Marion Grant (nee Bell) for 63 years. Loving father of Carole (Ken), Marci (Cal), Janice (Geff) and Murray. Proud Grandpa to Jenna, Alyce, Grant, Jonathan, Olivia, Jesse, Jack, Jaryn, Jace, Andrew and Benjamin. Survived by his sister Mildred (Bob Crawford) and sister-in-law Marlene Allen. Predeceased by his parents Ephriam and Gladys, siblings Helen, Lloyd (Catharine) and Margaret, his sisters-in-law Beatrice (Art Maas) and Evelyn Bell, and by his grandson Jaxson. A Celebration of Life for Jack will be held at the Port Elgin United Church on Saturday, March 24th, 2018 at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow.
