Joan Cooper

November 16, 1939 – September 17, 2018

Passed away peacefully after a courageous and hard fought battle with cancer.  Dearly loved mother of adopted son Alan Cooper and his wife Sherry of Fergus.  Cherished grandmother of Aaron and Brandon.  Predeceased by her parents Doris and Edward Cooper.  She was a strong, independent career woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Joan is also fondly remembered by her many friends with whom she shared laughter, adventures and made many memories.  She was an amazing woman who lived life with zest, passion and enthusiasm.  She will be missed.  Joan’s family extends their deepest thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff for the excellent care and kindness she received during this illness.  To honour Joan’s wishes, private cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Joan’s life will take place at a later date.
