Doug Minard

Surrounded by his family, Doug Minard passed away peacefully at home in Owen Sound on April 29, 2019. Loving husband to Mary Anne (nee Stratton) for over 50 years. Loving father to Tonya of Kitchener, Lori Minard, Kristy Minard and Beth Nicholls (Merle), all of Owen Sound. Loving grandfather to Carly, Dillon, Brandon, Jason, Nick, Jordan, Marrissa, Katelyn, Brianna and Kassie, all of Owen Sound.  Loving great grandfather to Braeden, Bentley, Nolan, Briar, Abby, Lincoln and Ava. Loving brother to Paul (Olga) Minard of Nova Scotia, Larry (Marg) Anley, Roger Minard, Dawn (Jack) Minard and Kim (John) Hopps, all of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Jean Minard, brother Daniel Minard and sister Judith Sprung. Celebration of life will be at the Owen Sound Legion on Saturday, May 25th at 1 p.m.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Chapman House or Second Chance Kids.
