Doug Stonehouse

Of Glammis, passed away peacefully at the Walkerton Hospital on Friday, May 10, 2019.  He was 75. Beloved spouse and life partner of Janet Reinhart (Bleek).  Dear father to his son Robert Stonehouse, and a dear friend to Maureen Stonehouse, both of Hanover.  Also father to James (Jim) Stonehouse of Durham.  Dear step-father to Nicole (Reinhart) Huberty and her husband Sean of Lansing, Michigan, Jaclynn (Reinhart) Prevost and her husband Joey of Paisley, and Cory Reinhart and his partner Corey Martin of Walkerton.  Loving Opa to Jayla, Ethan and Lyla Prevost, and to Sully and Leona Huberty.  Son of the late Margaret and Edward Stonehouse.  Son-in-law to Dorothy Wilhelm of Walkerton.  Brother-in-law to Robert Wilson and the late Susan Tattersall of Walkerton, Linda Buchanan and Al Foster of Walkerton, and to Michael “Mike” Bleek and his wife Emma of Glammis.  Doug will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews and friends.   As per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be a celebration of life on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Bradley Community Centre, 1682 Side Road 5, Brockton from 12 – 3 p.m.  Lunch provided, celebration starts at 1 p.m.  All are welcome.  Online condolences may be made at www.greybrucecremation.com.
