Robert (Bob) Anthes

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Anthes; suddenly at his home in Paisley on Monday, July 15^th, 2019 in his 78^th year. Cherished father of Robin Anthes and Michael Anthes and his partner Sarah. Beloved Papa Gigi to Hailey Wright and Ivory Leifso and adored Great Papa Gigi to River Hilary Jane Wright. Special Uncle to Andy McArthur, Devin McArthur and Janet Sollors-McArthur and family, many cousins and loved friend of Bill and Jean. As per Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be interred somewhere close to his heart with dear friends, and family close. Dad lived his life his way, with no apology and he slipped from our lives the same way. Dad was a “no fuss” man and not a “hallelujah” kind of guy either, so in keeping with that; to the many friends he had and the lives he touched, raise a glass of whatever you’re drinking to “Father Bob” and remember him with laughter and the many good times that were had with him.
