Frances (Fran) Smith

The passing of Frances (Fran) Caldwell Smith, formally of Matapedia, Quebec, occurred at Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, Ontario on January 16, 2021.  She was born in Matapedia, Quebec on February 14, 1941 to the late Robert (Ted) Caldwell and the late Freda Glidden. She is survived by her son Jeff (Laurie) of Owen Sound, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sisters Lynn, Nan, Betty Jean and Laurie, brother Billy and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her daughter Lisa, sisters Julia, Gayle, Glenda, Helen and Kathy and brothers Bobby and Harry.  A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Matapedia Protestant Cemetery.
