Lois Blackburn
Lois Blackburn, 63, of London, Ontario, has succumbed to her illness and lost her life long battle with depression. Her loss was sudden and the family is shocked and deeply saddened. Lois was born on November 25, 1957 to Alice and James Gray in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is survived by her four children Daniel (Cari) Langevin, Kasandra (Scott) Coleman, Christopher (Michelle) Langevin, Jonathan (Ashton) Langevin. She was a loving Grandmother to Serena, Xander, Dakota, Jade, Cheyenna, Noah, and Madelyn . Lois was a wonderful help with her grandchildren and loved them with her whole heart. They never laughed harder than when she was playing with them. Lois was very passionate about helping others and could always be counted on when someone needed her. She was quick with an encouraging word and was never shy with her compliments. Anyone who knew Lois, knew that she was kind and loving. She had a wonderful sense of humour and an infectious laugh and loved nothing more than going out to a local dance. Lois had a passionate love for animals and loved her two dogs dearly. Lois’ family and friends will miss her more than words can say. Contributions in memory of Lois can be made to the London Middlesex Suicide Prevention Council. Visitations with the family will be held Saturday October 30th, from 1-3, if you would like to attend or send flowers, please contact Ashton Langevin at a.keith_15@hotmail.com. If you cannot attend the service, please consider posting a message on www.greybrucecremation.com.
