Joan Armstrong

Suddenly passed away at her home in Owen Sound on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the age of 63.  Loving mother of Patrick Pike of Vaughan.  Dear sister of Thelma Fligg of Meaford, Karol Beasley of Sudbury, Michael Armstrong of Meaford and Joyce (Brad) Long of Chatham.  She will be sadly missed by her nieces and good friend Theresa Muzzerl.  Predeceased by her parents Lorne and Marie Armstrong.  Joan’s life took many different journeys.  She sailed the Great Lakes and also to Ireland.  She was a Red Cross worker, transit driver and school bus driver.  A private family gathering will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salvation Army or the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter would be appreciated.  Online condolences may be made at www.greybrucecremation.com.
