Leila Duff
It is with the heaviest of hearts and sadness that the family of Leila Elisabeth Duff announce her passing. Leila passed away peacefully December 1st, 2021 in Wiarton at the age of 75. She was born March 30th, 1946 in Meiringen, Switzerland, predeceased by her parents, George Alder and Johanna Logan. Leila joins the love of her life and soulmate, Paul Duff in heaven. Leila will be forever loved, remembered, and missed dearly by her three sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, stepson, stepdaughter, grandchildren, and all her extended family members.
Leila loved people and touched so many in her life, she treasured her family and friends, embracing every moment with them. Her passion for life and personality was infectious and she was a joy to be with. Leila has an enormous circle of friends from all parts of her life and from all over the world.
She was compassionate, kind, generous, genuine, selfless, and the purest of souls. To know Leila was to have been blessed and touched in a way that holds a special place in your heart that will live on forever. She was a true angel, who walked the earth and now watches over us from above.
Leila was passionate about life and never stopped learning or making a difference in other peoples lives. She worked and supported so many charities, was a devote volunteer for many years helping others in need and participated greatly in the community. She loved people, music, nature, the arts, her family, her friends, food, animals (her many fur babies), traveling, hiking the Bruce Trail, history, she spoke several languages, was highly educated and wise beyond her years. She lived a healthy, positive and spiritual life. Her belief and faith in God guided her to be an example to us all.
