Eugene Ward

Of Meaford, passed away peacefully with family at his side in hospital on January 2, 2022 at the age of 92.  Beloved husband for 72 years of Lois (Torrie) and proud father of Donald (predeceased 2017) (Sheila), Tim (Marsha) and David (Tammy).  Loving grandpa of Angela, Darryl (Jody), Sarah (Chris), Lucas (Chanise) and Zachary (Adrienne).  Great grandpa of Carter, McKenna, Hailey, Griffin, Calvin and Benjamin.  Dear brother of Marg Cupskey and George Ward (Sue).  Also remembered by sisters-in-law Joan Ward, Grace Osypchuk and Rhoda Torrie and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by his sister Lorraine Harrison, his brother Glen and brothers-in-law Cecil Harrison and Cliff Cupskey.  Cremation has taken place with interment at McLean’s Cemetery, Strathaven.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to First Baptist Church, Owen Sound or Strathaven Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.  Because of Covid restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be made at www.greybrucecremation.com.
