Rhoda “Gay” LeMaitre (nee Dobie)

March 1, 1928 – May 23, 2022

Gay LeMaitre passed away Monday, May 23rd 2022 at age 94. Beloved mother of the late Terry LeMaitre, her memory lives on and is cherished by her grandchildren Adam LeMaitre and his partner Sarah, Kaila LeMaitre and her partner Jesse, her daughter-in-law Sandra Hawkins LeMaitre, and dear friends Ann and Dave Evans. Gay was a devout member of the St. Thomas Anglican Church congregation and an active leader in the community for decades, volunteering for many causes. She will be remembered fondly for her electric personality and fierce love for her family. Deepest gratitude is extended to the staff at Lee Manor in Owen Sound for their unwavering support and dedication to Gay in her final years.
