Dale McArthur

April 24, 1938 – August 9, 2022

Dale McArthur passed away at the Lion’s Head Hospital at the age of 84. Dale was the son of Angus and Leona (Pettigrew) McArthur. Loved husband of Patsy (Wilson) for 65 years. Dear father of Kim, Krista (Dave), and Dan (Micah). Proud grandfather of Eric (Kristina), Jenna, Matthew, Owen, Conner, and Cole. Great grandfather of Henry and Lucas. Brother of Betty (Bevan) Tackaberry. Predeceased by his parents, Patsy’s parents Dan and Eva Wyonch, brother Kyle (late Leota), brothers-in-law John Wilson (late Laverne), Romayne Wilson (Marie), and nephew John Wilson Jr. (late Karen).  Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Goldie (Clayton), Gail (Barry), Marie, and nieces and nephews. Dale was born and raised at Cape Chin and resided in Eastnor Township and Saugeen Shores. He spent his retirement at Hopkins Bay, Lake Huron, enjoying visits with family and friends. The family gives heartfelt thanks to nurses and staff of the Lion’s Head Hospital and the VON. Donations in Dale’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce or VON Grey-Bruce.  Private service to be held.
