C. Elaine Jensen
March 19, 1939 to October 9, 2022
Sunday October 9th, 2022 in her 83rd year, Elaine Jensen passed peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services. Elaine will be remembered by her son Niels Jensen and his wife Vicky Watson along with family and friends. Through continuing health difficulties in recent years and struggles with the Covid protocols Elaine looked forward to Niels “breaking her out” of her retirement home and taking her on adventures to explore Grey and Bruce and visit animal shelters. She also looked forward to the sneaky diet Pepsi that he would bring for these journeys. Elaine’s bright smile and cheerful disposition will be missed by all who had the privilege to get to know her. We hope everyone will take the opportunity to smile in her memory whenever possible.
We send our appreciation to the staff of GBHS (especially the kind nurses of the 6th floor who took care of Elaine for the last several weeks) and also all the staff at Central Place (where she lived before her admission to hospital). We appreciate all words of condolence but request that in lieu of flowers donations are made to your local animal shelter or charity of choice. A private memorial service and interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in London will take place at a future date.
