Monica Eveleigh

July 13, 1956 – May 23, 2023

After living her life to the fullest for 66 years Monica Joy Eveleigh passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side at Lee Manor in Owen Sound.  She will be ever adored by her husband Brian Faris and her children Jeremy Westerveld and partner Monica Dixon, Sherra Westerveld and partner Ivan Stewart and Serena Westerveld along with her grandchildren, Cloe, Zoe, Kalvin, Logan, Keira, Cole, Makenzie, Aidan and Liam.  Also survived by her sister Ellen Gerow (Eveleigh) and husband Dave Boyd, and nieces and nephews Kaylie, Lauren, Jessica, Brittany, Ben, Chandel and Christopher.  She was predeceased by her mother Christine Eveleigh (Dobson), her father Allan Eveleigh and her brother Jamie Eveleigh. From a very early age Monica had a great love for horses throughout her life.  She became an avid golfer with her husband Brian.  She enjoyed working hard to build a log house with her husband in Kemble.  She also really enjoyed working on the farm.  She loved to be in her gardens and to surround herself with family and friends. We would like to take this time to thank the Alzheimer Society who have guided us through her care that took her too soon.  We would also like to acknowledge the incredible support from the staff at Lee Manor that went above and beyond to keep her comfortable.  Join us in celebrating her life on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Coffin Ridge Boutique Winery, 599448 Second Concession North, Annan, Ontario.  Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, www.greybrucecremation.com.
