Helen Smith

Helen Erma Smith passed away peacefully at Southbridge Care Home in Owen Sound on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.   Dear mother of Kim (Ken) Perry of Shallow Lake.  Grandmother of Terra (Jason) Hibma and Ryan (Kailey) Perry.  Special great grandma (nanny) of Kendra (Kyle), Logan and Ava (Wade) McDonald; Kennedy (Billy), Trevor and Weston Hibma; McKenna and Emersyn Marshall and Sawyer and Harper Perry.  Special first time great, great grandma to Bennett Norton, son of Kendra and Kyle. Helen is survived by sister-in-law Marie Lemon and brothers-in-law John Taylor and Bill Lang.  Predeceased by her husband Alvin (Hap) Smith and son Brad Smith as well as sisters Joy Taylor and Wilda Lang.  Cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be held at Colpoy’s Bay Cemetery at a time yet to be decided.  Memorial donations may be made to Shallow Lake Minor Hockey if you wish.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.
