Laurie Jarvis

Laurie Alvin Jarvis, age 82, of Owen Sound passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Monday September 25, 2023 after a long battle with COPD.  He was born on February 16,1941 in Barrie, Ontario.   Laurie is survived by his partner of 32 years Wendy, their daughter Kaitlin and his children Sharon, Laura and Mike (Lucy).  Laurie is also survived by his brother Keith, (Marilyn), Stephen and predeceased by brother David, (Flo) and parents Ken and Flora.  Laurie will be missed by his grandchildren Sean, Rachel, Victoria, Kayleigh, Noah, Rebecca and Jack.  He will also be missed by Wendy’s family and many friends.  Laurie loved car racing, golf, hockey, playing cards and darts with friends and family and always had a joke to tell.  As per Laurie’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Owen Sound on Sunday October 1, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. If so desired, please make donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 6 Owen Sound or the Legions Ladies Auxiliary. |Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.
