Alice VanBonn

A special angel has transformed her earth wings into eternal wings.  Alice VanBonn passed away peacefully at Chapman House in Owen Sound on Thursday November 2, 2023 after a brave battle with cancer. She was born September 4, 1940 in Chatham, Ontario to Jack and Idell Lilley. She was the oldest of four girls Barb (predeceased), Marilyn and Linda (predeceased).  Many will remember Alice from her days in retail in the Hanover/Walkerton area. She had a positive outlook on everything in life, always willing to help someone out and be that special friend. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by friends, neighbours, her chosen family and special friend Beav McDonald.  As per Alice’s wishes, there will be no service. Donations can be made to Saugeen Hospice or Chapman House.
