Michael Beckberger

Michael Robert Beckberger, of Owen Sound, passed away at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound on December 6, 2023. He was 52.

Mike was a registered member of the Canadian Adult Recreational Hockey Association (CARHA). He actively participated and loved attending sporting events. He loved baseball and was an incredible Baseball Pitcher in his younger years. He especially loved hanging out with Francis and driving around in his convertible.

Born in Kitchener March 3, 1971 to Robert Beckberger and the late Dianne Beckberger (nee Schwoob).  He is survived by his father, Robert Beckberger, his children Jordan Beckberger (Jenn), Alisha Beckberger, and Michael Beckberger, as well as one granddaughter, Miya.  Also survived by 2 sisters, Kim Beckberger, and Robin Hamilton, nieces Sarah Townsend, Amanda Smith (Andrew), nephew Scott Hamilton, 2 great nephews, Connor Churchill, Jax Smith, and one great niece, Izzy Churchill, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Predeceased by his mother Dianne Beckberger and great nephew Patrick.

Special thanks to the entire ACT team for all their love and support over the years. A special thank you to Tanya, Brittany and Francis in his final weeks.  Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held in the spring.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.
