Edward Stewart Wood (Lowe)

Passed away on January 25, 2024 at Chapman House in Owen Sound. Ed was a longtime resident of Lion’s Head and Wiarton. He enjoyed his dog Maddie, his many friends and his daily trips to Tim’s in Wiarton.  He was a quiet, kind man who believed in being honest and fair.  He was quick with a joke and loved telling and listening to funny stories and news of the world, which he often had his own interpretation of.  Ed will be missed by his many friends and neighbours.  Ed was predeceased by his parents John and Jeannine Wood, his father Al Lowe, brother Richard Lowe and sister Wilma Dravis. He is survived by his siblings Albert, Stanley, Jeannine, Wayne, John, Michael, Jackie, Jimmy and many nieces and nephews. A tree will be planted in honour of Edward. Donations can be given to The Salvation Army in Wiarton.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.
