Gladys Eva Fromager

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gladys Fromager (nee Stephens) announce her passing at Chapman House on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.  She was 87 years old.  She was the devoted wife of Alfie Fromager for 69 years before his passing in 2021.  Gladys is survived by her children Bonnie (Bryan) Long, David (Donna) Fromager, Deborah Court, Darren (Lisa) Fromager, Della Stewart and Deedee Rouse.  She was the cherished grandma to twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  She will be sadly missed by her sister Marjorie Hewitt of London and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son Alfie Jr., her infant son Dennis, her grandson Broddie Souliere and her sister Thelma Wright.

The family would like to express appreciation to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Brightshores Health System, Kelso Pines, Southbridge and Chapman House for taking such good care of Mom.  Thank you all so much!

Cremation has taken place.  As per Gladys’ wishes, there will be no funeral service.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, www.greybrucecremation.com.
