Larry Karn

Larry Joseph Karn of Owen Sound passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health Systerm, Owen Sound on June 16, 2024 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Marion for 54 years, who passed away on May 6, 2024. Loving father of Jason and Julie (Chris) Mielke. Cherished grandfather of Jessica and Rachael. Brother of Donald (Della) Karn. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Marie Karn. Larry worked at Grand River Hospital (Kitchener) for 30 years until his retirement in 1998. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the trailer. He also enjoyed the odd round of golf. Most of all he enjoyed fishing with his granddaughters. Cremation has taken place. At Larry’s request there will be no visitation or service. A private interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo will be held at a later date. Donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.
