Elizabeth (Liz) Hayes

July 27, 1956 – June 26, 2024

Elizabeth (Liz) Francis Maria Hayes (nee Kuyvenhoven) of Chatsworth and area passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024 at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound surrounded by the love of family and friends after a short battle with cancer.  Liz will be extremely missed by her children Jennifer Townson (Jason), Barrett Hepburn (Amy) and Justin Hepburn (Sammers), grandchildren Tessa Swanton (Devan) and Jacob Townson (Avery), great granddaughter Navy and great grand puppy Pepsi.  Beloved sister to Rolly Kuyvenhoven (Naomi), Helena Morrison, Anita Deen and Angelique Akers (Dan).  Liz will be missed by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.  Liz was predeceased by her parents Henry Kuyvenhoven and Poppy Kuyvenhoven and sisters Mya Kuyvenhoven and Wilika Kuyvenhoven.  Liz touched the lives of many people in our area and around the world. Her kindness, love and support will be truly missed by all who knew her kind and giving heart.  Celebration for Liz’s life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2 p.m. at 463014 Concession 24 East, Georgian Bluffs (Lake Charles). Please bring a chair as we will be outside.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.
