Lorne Mallard

Passed away peacefully at home on July 23, 2024, after a brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, Netta (Bye), and his cherished children: Erin (Steve) of Sydney, Australia, Steph of Waterdown, and Meg of Georgian Bluffs. Lorne was a proud grandfather to his granddaughters, Madison, Tehya, Olivia, and Neveya.  He is predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Laurina Mallard, and his in-laws, Mervyn and Lois Bye. Lorne was a loving brother to George (Ursula), Brenda (late Carl), Bruce (Chris), Marlene (Don), and Joyce (late Jim). He was also a dear brother-in-law to Gayle (Lloyd), Joyce (Judith), and Phil (Sherry). He will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews. Lorne was an avid outdoor enthusiast, finding joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. His happiest moments were on the farm with his girls and looking out over the bay.
