Mary Scott

Mary Scott passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, in her 96th year at Golden Dawn Seniors’ Home in Lion’s Head.  She was born April 11, 1929 in Czechoslovakia and came to Canada with her siblings Helen, Julia and Joe Mraz in 1938. Mary married Daniel Cameron Scott and they lived near London. They had 3 daughters, Patricia Austin (deceased 1991), Lin Souliere, and Danielle Springer.  Mary moved to Lion’s Head in 2000.  She is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and her niece Helen Evans.  Mary worked as a nurse for many years, and then volunteered in palliative care, Hospital Auxiliary, and at Golden Dawn where she made many friends in the Knit and Chat group. She will be missed by her whole family.  Private family gathering and interment will take place at Woodhull Cemetery in London alongside her husband Daniel Scott.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, www.greybrucecremation.com.
