Sue (Susie) Cole

Our dear and beloved mother Sue (Susie) Cole took her last breath in Hanover Hospital on Saturday, September 14, 2024, with her daughters keeping her company.  She was in her 97^th year.  She had been ailing for the past year and on Thursday, September 12^th, she entered the hospital.  Mom’s love for Dad (Fred), who died in 1999, never wavered.  Her most valued gifts of life were her children, Ruth (Dean), Bob (deceased), Mary (Zyg) and Susan (Brett); along with her grandchildren, Robbie, Meredith, Meghan, Thomas, Claire, Beverley and Deidre and her great-granddaughters, Ava-Jade and Arya.  Betty, her sister-in-law, was a special and loving friend throughout her years.  Extended family were also important to her and are primarily in Newfoundland, where she and Dad were born, met and married.  We would like to thank Sprucewood of the The Village, Hanover and the Hanover Hospital for their kindness and care which they gave to her and us.  They certainly eased our concerns for her well being.  As she wished, after cremation Mom will join Dad in his resting place in Etobicoke and her beloved mother’s resting place in Grand Bank, Newfoundland.  If you wish, in Mom’s memory, donations to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, greybrucecremation.com.
