Mark Stephens

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Stephens. Mark passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on December 19, 2024, at the age of 68.  Beloved husband and best friend to Cathy Stephens (née Bird).  Loving father to Jennifer Poole (Geoffrey) and Lindsay Morrison (Jared). Proud Grandpa to Kaitlyn and Kendra Poole and Molly, Holden and Huxley Morrison.  Loving brother to Rande Kells, Scott Stephens (Penny), Craig Stephens (Sue) and Deborah Vining (Marty).  Dear brother-in-law to Debbie Stephens, Ed Bird (Lorna) and Len Bird (Debbie). Mark will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents, Marilyn and George Stephens, his brother Brock Stephens and his in-laws Eleanor and George Bird.

Mark had a passion for music and loved to get together for jam nights or just play on his own. His love for music extended to building the most beautiful guitars.

In honour of Mark’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, greybrucecremation.com. There will not be a funeral nor graveside service. A special thanks to Dr Sandhu and Dr Majeeb, Dr Kaal, Dr Chapman, Care Partners, the 5th Floor infusion staff and the care team in London.
