Gordon J. Scott

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gordon James Scott on Thursday January 30, 2025 at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound. Gord was born in Owen Sound on October 19, 1936 and resided in Allenford for over 45 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean Scott (2020). Proud father of Kevin (Jennifer) Scott of Tara, Brian Scott (Terri Lyn Helliwell) of Waterloo and Paul (Angela) Scott of Owen Sound. Cherished grandfather of Owen, Morgan, Hailey (Mark), Alycia, Tyler, Joshua. Gord will be missed by his brother, Lloyd (Roberta) Scott, sisters-in-law Freda (Al) Barber and Elaine Esplen and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Jim Esplen, sister-in-law Norma Lockman and brother-in-law Clarence Lockman.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring prior to interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.
