Angus Timbury

We are sad to announce the death of Angus Timbury, who passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018, with his wife Shirley at his side.  He leaves behind his children, Richard, David, Jean, Kenneth and Gordon and his step-children, Lisa Reay and Jeff and Keith Fortune, as well as their partners, children and grandchildren.  Angus was born on August 6, 1934 in North Sydney, Cape Breton.  He joined the military at the age of 17 and was a soldier for 30 years.  He was quick with a joke, drove too fast and was fiercely independent.  He loved the outdoors and he always had a story to tell.  He loved his family deeply and was deeply loved in return.  A private family memorial will be held.   Thanks to the Six-One staff at the Owen Sound Hospital for their care and compassion in his final days.  Online condolences may be made at www.greybrucecremation@wightman.ca.
