Wendy Whitmarsh

Peacefully with her family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, Wendy passed on February 18th, 2019 in her 59th year. Partner and best friend of Mark Bennett for 27 years. Loving mother of Sarah Ramboer (Brennan) of Blenheim. Stepmother to Chris Bennett (Sue) of Owen Sound, Jeremy Bennett of Puslinch, and Amie Linn Cliche of Woodstock. Grandma/Nana to Maddox, Dylan, J-Mikal, Makayla, Taylor, Owen, Kate, and Emma. Survived by her sister Debbie (Roland) and brothers Brian (Mary Beth), Mark, and Jeff (Tracy). Loving aunt (Wicked Wendy) to her many nieces and nephews. Daughter-in-law of Barb Weir of Annan. Predeceased by her parents Doug & Betty Massender. There will be a Celebration of Life for Wendy on Saturday, March 2nd from 2 until 4 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion in Owen Sound and another at the Willow Ridge Golf Course in Blenheim on March 9th from 2 until 5 pm. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
