Merlene Ruhl

Merle passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 in her 89th year.  Merle was born August 7, 1934 to Sylvester and Henrietta (Kueneman) in Hanover, Ontario. She was the eldest of two children, Merlene and Elaine.  Loving mother of Kathy (Michael) Whitton of New Brunswick and Chris (Glenda) Ruhl of Walkerton. ‘Moo’ will be missed by her two granddaughters, Sara (Gary) Publicover and Tori (Colton) Morrow, both of Kitchener, as well as her great granddaughter, Sloane Morrow.  Merle was predeceased by her husband Glen of 62 years, and her  parents Sylvester and Henrietta (Kueneman) Kroetsch.  In respecting Merle’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no further services.  Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, www.greybrucecremation.com.
