Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather

Arnold Rolston, born January 16th, 1936 to Clarence and Irene Rolston died on October 18th, 2022 at Markdale Hospital in his 87th year.

A devoted Lutheran, Arnold could often be found at church, within the community of Luther Ranch which he loved so much, out snowmobiling the beautiful trails of Grey Bruce, or admiring the birds from his kitchen table over a hot cup of tea.

Arnold is survived by Shirley Rolston, his loving wife of 65 years and his three cherished children Grant Rolston (Alona), Susan Ginther (Mark), and Ian Rolston (Lori). He was preceded in death by his first son Mark Rolston and his sisters Doris Marchant and Joan McLuhan. Arnold will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren Amy Rolston, Christine Rolston, Stacey LeDrew (Daniel), Jacob Johnson, Clayton Rolston, Bailey Rolston, and Quincy Rolston as well as his great grandchildren Tamera, Elliot, Lexi, Marissa, Kyla, Landon, and Evelyn. He will be further remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will honour Arnold’s life with a service at St. James Lutheran Church in Williamsford on November 4th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. and greet guests over lunch following the service. Internment will then follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Mount Forest Cemetery.
