Doris Haggarty

In her 99th year, Doris of Durham/West Grey, passed away peacefully in Lee Manor, Grey County LTC Home on October 19, 2024, with her family by her side.  Survived by her loving husband John, her son Robert, daughter-in-law Barbara and grandson Thomas from Durham, her daughter Kim Haggarty from Etobicoke and also many nieces, nephews and friends.

Doris will be remembered by many.  She led The Durham Silver Threads Choir for 30+ years bringing happiness and warmth to many LTC homes in Grey, Bruce and Wellington counties.  Doris is probably now leading a choir of Angels!

Cremation has already taken place. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Lee Manor Long Term Care Home, SBGHC Durham Hospital or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, greybrucecremation.com.
