Jerry Gibbons

It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jerry Allen Gibbons on January 9, 2025 at the young age of 71. Unconditionally loved by his longtime wife Frances Gibbons (McDonald). Loving father of Tammy (Dan) Watson, Anthony (Kerinda) Gibbons and Katy (Bob) Cherry. Many may have known him as Bone, or Ma, but the people he loved the most called him Pa. Cherished grandfather of Brooke and Lily Watson, Brayden, Nathaniel and Grayson Gibbons and Reese and Bryce Cherry. He was dear brother of Joyce Primeaux (Lou), Ron (Sarah), Lorna Tweedy and Bev Hilliard (Wayne). Brother-in-law to Georgina Girdler (Bev), Tonda McDonald, Lynda Gibbons and Sheilla Gibbons. Jerry will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Annie Gibbons, mother-in-law Hazel McDonald, brothers, Randy, Lloyd and Larry, in-laws, Hugh and Mary Lou Nuhn, Frank McDonald and Bill Tweedy and niece Jennifer Gibbons. As per Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Outdoor tribute to take place in the spring, at the farm.
