Charles (Charlie) Griffin

November 24, 1951 – January 23, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Charles “Charlie” Griffin at Brightshores Health System in Southampton, Ontario. Beloved spouse of Eva Halliday of Port Elgin.  Loving father of Carl Griffin, grandfather of Heather Griffin and great grandfather of Grayson , all of Sarnia.   Devoted stepfather of Penny James of Orangeville and Peggy Halliday (Darren) of Burlington and step grandfather of Andrew Halliday and Savannah McAskill, both of London.  Dear brother of Frank Griffin (Lorraine) of Sarnia, Pat Henderson of Petrolia and Elgin Everingham (Dianne) of Sarnia. Loved by many nieces and nephews extended family and friends.  Predeceased by parents Frank Warden Griffin and Erie Walker, stepmother Doris Dupuis, sister Ella Colling, brother-in-law Joe Farina and nephew Jason Henderson.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations in memory of Charles may be made to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, 340 High Street, Southampton, Ontario N0H2L0.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, greybrucecremation.com.
