John (Ted) Grahlman

Passed away peacefully at the Brightshores Health System, Markdale, Ontario, on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Born in Kapuskasing, Ontario on April 16,1936, John Theodore (Ted) Grahlman of Owen Sound in his 89th year. Beloved husband of 62 years to Lillian Grahlman (Girdler). Loving father to Barry and Lisa. Cherished Papa to Ashley and his step grandson Joshua Main. Dear brother of Bill (Marg), Jim and Ron (Maureen). Papa will also be dearly missed by his buddy Baxter, by his friends, extended family and the Hydro community. Predeceased by his son Raymond and his parents John and Allie. As per Ted’s wishes, there will be no funeral. However, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Owen Sound on February 15, 2025 from 1 – 4 p.m. A private family burial will take place at a later time. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
