Gord Goodale

Gord Goodale passed away peacefully at the Southampton Care Centre on Sunday, July 16, 2017, in his 86^th year.  Left to mourn his passing is his wife Dorothy Jutzi.  He is survived by his sons Glenn and his wife Elaine of Southampton and their daughters Kara and Blain (Rey) and their daughter Celeste and Gary of Newtonville and his daughters Chole and Amanda.  Also survived by brothers Donald and Clifford (Marty), both of Oakville and Dorothy’s children Joan, James and Janet.  Predeceased by his parents Withrow and Elizabeth Goodale, his daughter Judy, brother Kenneth and sisters Thelma and Dorothy.  Gord was a volunteer firefighter and policeman both in Oakville and Port Elgin.  He was also a tree cutter and owned his own dump truck.  A Celebration of Gord’s Life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 525 Ivings Drive, Port Elgin on Saturday, July 29^th from 2 – 4 p.m.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Southampton Care Centre or the Alzheimer Society.  Online condolences may be made at www.greybrucecremation.com.
