In Loving Memory of Francine Marie Blanche Gagne

July 2, 1955 – July 14, 2025

Surrounded by love, Francine passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Francine’s presence in our lives was a gift, and her absence will be deeply felt. We will carry her memory with us always. Francine was a devoted mother to her daughter Michelle O’Hagan (Dave) and her son Marc Gagne (Susan). Nothing brought her more joy than her four grandchildren, whom she adored beyond words: Ashley (Everett), Emma, Lauren, and Nicolas. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Nelson Gagne, and her dear parents, Laurent and Berthe Rodrigue. Francine is fondly remembered by her siblings, Denis Rodrigue (Carole), Jean-Guy Rodrigue (Lorraine), Yvan Rodrigue (Diane), and Michel Rodrigue (Julie) and her nieces and nephews Steve, Melanie, Eric, Jason, and Natalie. Francine will be fondly remembered by the many family members from the Gagne family also. Born on July 2, 1955, Francine grew up in Kapuskasing, Ontario, where she made countless cherished memories with her four brothers and many cousins and friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Kincardine Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Francine’s final days. Their kindness brought comfort during an incredibly difficult time. As per Francine’s wishes, a private immediate family celebration of life will take place in July.
