Marjorie Jean Speedie (Crawford) passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System, Southampton on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in her 84th year. Beloved wife for 65 years and best friend to Ken Speedie. Cherished mother of Sheldon (Marlene) Speedie, Sherry (Peter) Burton and Laurie (Steve) Beange. Adored Grandmother of Tony (Teresa) Opie, Kristen (Bob) Speedie, Micheal (Zahra) Speedie and Kenzie (Dave) Burton. Proud Great Grandmother to Blaze Mercer. Step-Grandmother to Jason Beange and Michelle (Jason) Carson. Survived by her brother Robert (Bob) Crawford and sister-in-law Ruth Crawford. She is predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Lillian Crawford, her brother, Allan Crawford, sister-in-law, Margaurite Crawford, sister-in-law, Kaye Clarke and brother-in-law, Alf Clarke. Marj will be dearly missed by her several nieces, nephews and friends.
