Rose Marie (Rosemary) Wainwright

Rose Marie (Rosemary) Wainwright passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Chapman House Hospice on September 19, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love and happy memories for her sons, Todd and Peter, and her granddaughters Vanessa, Jocelyn, Evangeline and Sophie. We all express our gratitude for the love and support of Lori, Louise, Cole, David, Brandon and Lobo as we mourn together.  We would like to say “thank you” to the staff of Central Place, Chapman House, Care Partners, Brightshores Health System-Owen Sound Hospital, St. Mary’s Church, Owen Sound Family Health Team, the Roxy Theatre and everyone who reached out and expressed their recollections and feelings about her.  A name plate will be mounted on a seat at the Roxy in her memory.  The family will have a private ceremony to celebrate her life at Martinique Beach Nova Scotia next summer.
