Rudi Noya

September 28, 1953 – October 22, 2025

It is with sadness that we announce Rudi’s passing on October 22, 2025 at Summit Place, Owen Sound. He was 72. Rudi was born in the Netherlands and at age 9 emigrated to Canada with his family. Starting in Mimico, they soon moved to the Owen Sound area, where he and his family got involved with the Kemble Church Choir and the Georgian Bay Concert Choir. His great sense of humour and his gentle, caring, thoughtful nature were a special asset when he became a Personal Support Worker in Group Homes. He is predeceased by his parents Dick and Teddy and his Oma Maria Visser. He leaves behind his brothers Robin and Tom, Uncle Hubert, Aunt Paulien and cousins Don and Ingrid. The family is grateful for the excellent care Rudi received at Summit Place. A private gathering will be held in the future. If so desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
