Barry Craven

January 10, 1950 – November 19, 2025

Barry Paul Craven, age 75 years old, of Walkerton passed away on November 19, 2025. Barry was born in Toronto on January 10, 1950.

Barry will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Marlee Craven (Angela Wilson) of Port Elgin; Grandchildren Robert Tryon (Katherine Schmidt) of Inglewood, Selena Tryon (Greg Wagner) of Chesley; Great-Granddaughter Karmyn Benninger of Chesley; and his brothers Ron Craven and Gary Benson.

Predeceased by daughter Jessica Craven (2023), grandson Seth Tryon (1995) and his parents George Craven (2010) and Helen Littlefield (1988).

Barry will be remembered for his captivating stories about growing up in Port Bolster.  His billiard table skills, love for basketball, fishing, and desire to travel are just a few of his many passions.  Above all, he was a passionate and joyful teacher, and his love for his students was even greater.  Barry was also an antique car enthusiast, spending countless hours tinkering in his garage to breathe new life into older cars, transforming them into showroom-worthy “mint condition” vehicles.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
