Helen Homan (née Kuglin)

January 1, 1934 – March 15, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Homan on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the age of 92.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Harvey Homan. She leaves behind her daughters Ann Homan, Joan Robertson (Andy) and son Bruce Homan (Michelle). Helen was the very proud grandmother of Laura Robertson and Jack Homan. She will be remembered by her siblings Joseph Kuglin, Tom Kuglin (Marg) and sisters-in-law Helen Kuglin, Jean Kuglin, Gwen Kuglin, Kay Summers (Burle) and their families. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Thelma (Liscombe), her siblings, Bazil Kuglin, Dennis Kuglin, Robert Kuglin, Bill Kuglin, Ilean Austin and in-laws Mary Kuglin, Alison Kuglin and Kenn Austin.

We would like to thank the staff at Rockwood Terrace for the love and care given to Helen during her years with them.

Helen began her nursing career at Belleville General Hospital and remained friends with many of her classmates until her passing. Helen returned to nursing as her children grew older. She was an Operating Room Nurse at Owen Sound General & Marine Hospital until her retirement.

The funeral service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church in Williamsford on Sunday, March 29 at 2 p.m. Interment to be held later in the spring.

If you are sending flowers, please ask the florist to deliver them to the church at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 29th.
