Robert Smith

Robert Glen Smith, 74, of Owen Sound, passed away on March 3, 2026.

Robert was born on September 4, 1951, to parents John and Merlene Smith. He had 13 siblings: surviving are Carol, MaryAnn, Marlene, Debbie, and Lloyd and deceased are Jack, Ken, Jim, Eleanor, Freda, Katie, Marcella, and Sheila. Robert is also survived by his wife Lucienne, his sons Jordan and Joel, and his grandchildren Raven, Sparrow and Culleecy.

In 1977, Robert met Lucienne and they were married in Owen Sound in December of that year. In 2016, Robert retired at age 65 and spent his time loving and caring for his family and watching sports, particularly hockey. He was a life long Habs fan. Robert was a faithful and strong Christian, and his faith was central to his life.

Services will be held at Sauble Christian Fellowship, 27 Southampton Parkway, Sauble Beach on Tuesday, March 10th at 2 p.m.
