Erika Kyriakou

August 16, 1957 – March 28, 2026

We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2026, Erika Kyriakou of RR#3 Elmwood, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital at the age of 68. Born in Mannheim, Germany.

Erika brought spirit of resilience and adventure that defined her entire life, and unmistakably feisty, strong personality. Her heart was happiest on the move. Erika lived for spending time with family, camping trips and road adventures, always ready to explore and find the next great view.

She was loved and cherished by many people including her husband of 50 years Kostakis (Gus), daughter Jennifer of Kitchener, son Andy (Dawne) of Brantford and grandchildren John, Kyle, Cyrus, Myia, Jallin, Kendal, Skye and Delmar, and a community of very close friends. Erika also leaves behind 8 wonderful great – grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother Ruth Huellemann, brother Werner Meissner and father-in-law Andreas Kyriakou
