Julie Nobbe

Julie Anne Nobbe (née Harwood) passed away in her 67th year on April 23, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Henry, children Thomas, Adrienne and Sonya and grandchildren Linnea and Nève. Also survived by siblings Ken (Marlene), Ron (Sheri), Cathy (Murray), John (Judy) and Rob (Gwendelyn), siblings-in-law Godelind and Taletta (Dave) and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Ken (1986) and Elsie (1994), sister Tracey (1996), sister Bonnie (2022) and her husband Kim (2014), nephew “Little” John (2011) and her parents-in-law Henry Sr. (2018) and Lotte (2013).

Julie cared deeply for her family and friends. She found joy in caring for those in her life, hosting and planning many events, often cooking more than enough food. She was kind, compassionate, and rarely hesitated to support those around her. She worked hard, gladly shared her life experience and was a sound source of practical advice. She loved the time she spent with Henry throughout their 36 years of marriage and into retirement.

We are deeply saddened by her passing and will honour her legacy.

A celebration of Julie’s life will be held at her and Henry’s home on May 30th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Brightshores Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
