Ernie Wright

It is with deep sadness and love that we mourn the loss of William Ernest (Ernie) Wright in his 84th year on May 27, 2026 in Owen Sound, Ontario.  Ernie was born on December 12, 1942 to Arthur Gordon and Irene (nee Nelson).

He will be forever missed and not forgotten by his wife Patricia, his son Greg, grandchildren Stephanie, Darren, Devon, Isaac, Aisla and Macgregor, his stepson Bill, sister-in-law Jeannette and her husband Max Dennie, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son Thomas, his parents and siblings: Ardella, Emerson, Sylvia and Mervyn.

Ernie will be remembered for his crazy sense of humour, his skill as a Senior Gas Technician, his willingness to help others and his determination to figure out how to fix everything and anything.

Ernie will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Owen Sound. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, greybrucecremation.com.
